Moonlighting at Iguazu Falls

Once a month when the moon is full, Iguazu National Park on the Argentina side of the falls opens at night for 5 days. Visitors will book an excursion from the park base that will take them on a nighttime train ride out to Devil’s Throat – the pinnacle part of Iguassu Falls.
The moonlight will escort the open aired train along the river and through the rainforest out to the depot. A peaceful ride that engages riders with the fresh air and the sounds of the river, jungle and meandering train down the tracks.
Upon arrival, visitors will take the leisurely 1 mile stroll on the bridge crossing the river all along the way. Although it can be a bit intimidating out over the water, the prize at the end of the trek is more than worth the endeavor.
