Pinnacles Desert

The Pinnacles Desert represents 1,000s of limestone pillars of various shapes and sizes. This desert phenomenon is part of Nambung National Park which is located in the western part of Australia. Access to Pinnacles Desert is through the city of Cervantes.
The pinnacles are made of limestone from seashells that have been crushed into sand particles. There is a debate into how the pinnacles were formed, but now matter how they developed they create a sea of amazing sights. Some of the pinnacles reach almost 11.5 feet (3.5 m) into the air.
