What are the seven wonders of wildlife? Wildlife contributes to many of the natural wonders around the world, and it is often the wildlife that makes a wonder of nature a more lively and engaging experience. However, it is fair to say that throughout this planet many of the various species themselves are true wonders of nature.

Most people have heard of the “Big 5.” The Big 5 refers to a group of animals located in Africa that were hard to hunt and often killed the hunter. The Big 5 included the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and water buffalo. This group of animals is often the pursuit of many safari goers that make their way to Africa.

Throughout this page you will find a series of different groupings that represent various “Big 7s.” Some lists will be by continent, others by species, and others for various engaging reasons. The purpose of these lists is to create the motivation for people to engage the wildlife of the world, gain an appreciation of their existence, and then look for ways to protect and invest in their well-being. Our wonders of nature will lose value if we lose the wildlife that often helps them be the wonders that they are.
