Grossglockner

Grossglockner is the tallest mountain in Austria. The mountain summit reaches a peak of 12,461 feet (3,798 m). Prominence is set at 7,929 feet (2,423 m). Speaking further on statistical significance, it is highest mountain in the Alps east of the Brenner Pass. It is home to Pasterze, which is the country’s most extended glacier.

The Krimml Waterfalls is a tiered type of falls. Statistically speaking, it is the Austria’s tallest waterfall. The falls plunge a total of 1,247 feet (380 m). There are three plunges or independent falls, which start at the top of the Krimmler Ache valley. The first plunge falls 459 feet (140 m), with the middle being the shortest plunge of 328 feet (100 m).
